APSMO 2022 Awards
The Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiads (APSMO) aims to promote and improve maths problem solving skills amongst students through 5 Olympiad assessments completed throughout the year. 9 students from Silverton Primary School achieved a score within the Top 25% or higher.
The students that achieved a score within the Top 25% received a participation award as well as an APSMO embroidery patch. These students are: Christopher Wong Mew Wah, James Li, Tim Ngo, Jack Procter, Ivan Joshi, Isabelle Huynh and Eric Dutulescu.
The students that achieved a score within the Top 10% received a participation award as well as an APSMO enamel pin. These students are Aayush Oak and Tanish Oak. In addition to his pin, Aayush also received a trophy for obtaining the highest score out of the 30 students that participated at Silverton Primary School.
