The process to enrol in Primary School has changed to previous years with school zones in effect.
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.
Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.
Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

Please note these changes do not affect any of our students currently enrolled at Silverton Primary School or their siblings enrolling.
If you reside outside of our zone you can fill out an Application to Enrol form and we will notify you in August if we have space for your child.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Silveton Primary School.

To enrol in a Victorian government school, you need to fill out an enrolment form and provide information about your child including:- a Birth Certificate and;- Immunisation Status Certificate (issued by Medicare - not a copy of the Child's health book)- if you have a Visa, a copy of the Visa paperwork.
You will be able to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2026 at Silverton Primary School from 22 April 2025.

Parent Information Booklet Each year we produce a Parent Information Booklet with details about our school. Click here to open a copy.
Parent Payment and Stationery Lists Parent Payment (fees) change each year. Our school heavily subsidises many of our programs to keep the fees down as much as possible.
We also ask that each student provides some of their own stationery to use on top of what we already provide.
