District Athletics 2022

On the 1st of September, a select group of Silverton students attended the District Athletics at Ross Reserve. On the day everyone tried their best in their selected activities. We all had a great time watching our fellow peers and cheering them on. The students participated in sports of two main categories track and field. Some of our highlights of the day were winning ribbons for our school, meeting new people, and watching people’s techniques and learning from them. It was wonderful to see parents and relatives come to watch and cheer on their family at the event. All of the hard work put into practising was worth it at the end of the day. All the Silverton students set a great role model to all the other schools and showed what the Silverton spirit is. Congratulations to all the students who placed 1st and 2nd for their events and made it into Division Athletics. We wish you all the best on the day!
