What's New in STEM
Here's what the Grade 3 to 6 students have been up to during STEM this term.
Welcome back everyone to 2022! While students are getting settled into their new homerooms, the Grade 3 to 4 students have been learning about engineers and lego building techniques while the Grade 5 and 6 students have been completing a unit of lessons around how computers store data using binary digits. Here are some photos of a Lego Challenge day that the Grade 3 and 4's participated in below. There is also a photo of a binary chart that the Grade 5 and 6 students used to write words and sentences in binary digits. Could you figure out what word the student wrote in binary code?
