We were all so excited to welcome the 2026 Foundation students to Silverton as they began their first transition session for the year! The theme was centred around fun and engaging activities inspired by the story Wombat Stew.

Students enjoyed Discovery Time, collecting natural materials from outdoors, re-enacting the story, and surveying everyone’s favourite character from Wombat Stew. We are so proud to see our new Foundations already beginning to grow in confidence and form new friendships as they take their first steps into big school.

A big thank you to all the staff, parents, and 2026 Grade 5 students who helped make this afternoon such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next transition session!
