We travelled by bus, and we had one stop on the way to Koo Wee Rup Park. It took us about an hour to get to Koo Wee Rup Park and another hour and a half to Waratah Bay Beach Camp.
We participated in so many fun activities over the three days. The activities were:
Archie’s favourite experience was the Flying Fish because it was fun to go that high and get dropped down, it was a bit scary but still fun.
Benji’s favourite was the Flying Fish as well, because he went all the way to the top and then dropped from the top.
This is what we ate during the whole camp. On the first day we had to bring our lunch, but the camp provided us with dinner which was pork with veggies such as peas, roasted potatoes and cauliflower with cheese, which we thought could be a bit better. After dinner we had dessert which was ice cream and fruit crumble which was really good but maybe a little bit too fruity for Benji. On the second day we had breakfast which was egg and bacon, or you could pick cereal which was corn flakes and rice bubbles. Benji felt like there could have been a bit more options but still was good. For lunch we had salad rolls with lots of vegetables, and it was yummy. For dinner we had some lasagna which was a tiny bit cheesy for Benji but still good. After dinner we had some ice cream and jelly, but the jelly was optional. It was delicious we all loved it. Now onto the last and final day for breakfast we had pancakes with maple syrup or lemon and sugar and for seconds the chef threw the pancakes on our plates, and we had to try catching them. We both caught ours, everyone clapped, it was so much fun!
Thankyou to the teachers and students who made camp such a great experience. We had so much fun!
