One aspect of the Eid celebration for many Muslims around the world is for children to wear a new or special outfit on the day.  To honour this tradition, children who would like to wear their Eid clothes to school on Monday are welcome to do so.

The Muslim Festival of Eid al Fitr is celebrated across Australia on Monday 31st March, as announced by the Australian National Imams Council.

To mark the occasion, one of our Silverton Primary School parents will say a few words about the significance of Eid al Fitr at assembly on Monday.

One aspect of the Eid celebration for many Muslims around the world is for children to wear a new or special outfit on the day.  To honour this tradition, children who would like to wear their Eid clothes to school on Monday are welcome to do so.
