As Term 1 comes to an end, we can’t believe how quickly the time has flown! Our Foundation students have had a fantastic start to their learning journey, filled with exciting experiences and hands-on activities.
In Literacy, students explored the wonderful world of Australian authors, enjoying classics such as Wombat Stew and Possum Magic. These rich and engaging stories sparked creativity and enthusiasm for reading.
Maths Investigations have been just as exciting, with a focus on exploring Length. Students built a farm for a hen inspired by Rosie’s Walk and practiced measuring by tracing their partners’ bodies and using Unifix cubes.
To make their learning even more immersive, the Foundations enjoyed tasting delicious lamingtons from Possum Magic and had great fun making their very own Wombat Stew as a class!
It has been a joy to see their curiosity and excitement grow throughout the term. We look forward to more learning adventures in Term 2!
