Marine Ambassador Excursion to Rickets Point

Students who are part of our Marine Ambassador program went to Rickets Point Marine Sancturay for an excursion.

Last week we went to Rickets Point Marine Sanctuary for a Marine Ambassador excursion. Everyone had a great time! My favourite part was when we went rock pooling, and we all got to hold a crab!

We all did 3 sessions altogether. Our first session we did was seeing and learning about aboriginal hunting weapons like a boomerang, things to keep you warm such as a possum fur coat and how to make a fire! Then we did an activity called Sand Sift and identified rubbish. After that was the best part where we went to the rock pools finding all sorts of creatures.

We thank  Mrs Blake for organizing this fun trip for all the Marine Ambassadors :)
