The purpose of this excursion was to provide the selected students with an opportunity to learn about Australia's constitution and systems of government, through participation in an informed, parliamentary style debate. The students participated in a debate around the topic: With the increase in issues related to concussion, should contact sports be banned?
Before collaborating on their opening statement given by Harriet when we arrived, the students gave up their own time to learn about the risks associated with concussion and how we can prevent and treat them if they do occur.
Thank you to all the students and their families for supporting us in attending the excursion.
