2022 October Newsletter #13

Silverton Primary School's Newsletter #13 October 2022
Dear Silverton Families,
I would like to congratulate our staff and students for an excellent start to Term Four in very challenging circumstances. Our focus for this Term is wellbeing, caring and looking after one another. I’m so proud of the way the students returned to school. All classes have spent time writing cards, messages and making things to remember and pay tribute to Ms Prosser. Our staff have done a wonderful job in nurturing the students through this difficult time as well as being there for each other. What an amazing community we have!
I’d like to take the opportunity to thank all of our staff and students for their incredible contribution to our Art Show. What an amazing Silverton event! The parents who volunteered their time to cook the BBQ, we are very thankful for your efforts. I would also like to thank all of our families for their attendance on the night. It was so nice to get together as a community again and celebrate the creative achievements of our students.

We are excited to welcome our 2023 Foundations to Silverton this week for the first of four Transition sessions. Thank you in advance to all of the staff who have worked very hard in preparing and contributing to these sessions. I’m sure the children will have fun getting to know Silverton PS.
Lastly, I would just like to thank all of our Silverton community for their support. On behalf of the Silverton staff, thank you!
