Silverton Primary School's August 2020 e-Newsletter
Dear Parents,
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR FOUNDATION STUDENTS ON 100 DAYS OF LEARNING.
EVERYONE HERE AT SIVLERTON ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU!!
It’s hard to believe we have just under 4 weeks to go until the end of Term 3. To get us all through the last month of Term 3 we have planned some special days for the students;
- A wellbeing day was held on Monday
- Online House Day – 3 September organised by our House Captains
- Mindfulness Day – 9 September
- Online Footy Day – 18 September
ASSESSMENT TASKS
Over the next few weeks teachers will be asking students to complete assessment tasks independently. Therefore can I please ask parents not to assist their child with the task, just encourage them to do their best.
INTERNET ACCESS
If any family needs a dongle please let the office know as I still have a few more available for our school community.
YEAR 7 2021
Last week all Grade 6 parents were emailed a Confirmation letter regarding their child’s Year 7 Placement for 2021. If you didn’t receive a letter please contact the school office immediately.

Contactless Payments and Receipts
Due to the current climate the school is moving towards contactless payments and receipts.

We are encouraging all parents to pay either by direct deposit or via their credit card over the phone. We are still accepting cash but due to parents not being able to attend onsite at the moment these are our preferred methods of payment.
