Welcome to Silverton Primary School's e-Newsletter.

Thanks for everyone's patience during our building works. The project is nearly complete.

The much anticipated LC4 Market Day is next week, Wednesday 28th November. Each student will be sent home a booklet outling the Market stalls and pre-order forms. Services and products range from 50c to $5. Please make sure your child/ren brings loose change on the day.

As we are nearing the end of the year, please make sure your accounts (laptop, swimming, excursions) are finalised. Reminder, that if you pay the Essential Education Items before Friday 21st December, you get $10 discount per child.

Next Years Classes

As the end of the year is fast approaching, we are starting the process of organising next years classes. If you have a classroom request, can you please request in writing addressed to the Principal, Ms Amanda Prosser.

Parking Inspectors

Parents have reported that the council has been taking photos of people stopping in the car park on Jacksons Road and dropping their kids off. If you have any concerns, please contact the Greater Dandenong Council.


Kimandas Canteen

Kimanda's will be open Business as usual on Market Day, Wednesday 28th November.


Thanks to everyone involved in the School Banking Program.

A reminder that bank books are to come to school on a Monday morning and go into the Grey Banking Bag. However, if you are depositing a large amount, can you please bring the bank book to the office.

Market Day

Wednesday 28th November (11.30-2.15)

Don’t forget that on Wednesday Learning Centre Four students will be holding their economics market. Over 40 different stalls with items ranging from $0.50 to $5.00.

Don’t forget to bring your pocket money.

The profit raised goes back into improving the school community.

Please keep your money until the market day, don’t bring it to the office.

Where: Silverton Primary School Gym

Who: all students at Silverton Primary who have paid lessons

for Violin, Flute, Keyboard, Voice, Guitar, Percussion and Dance Troupe.

Silverton Stars at Cricket Day

Recently 16 Silverton 5/6 students participated in the Cricket Victoria Blast Day. It was a hot sunny day but all, with highlights throughout the day, had a great time. Both the Girls and Boys team played exceptionally well. With both winning their third place final.
