On Saturday 16th of March we had our first working bee at school to coincide with Open Day.
Several families helped out in the vegetable garden, weeding, removing nets from our fruit trees and preparing our garden beds for the Autumn Winter plantings.
Students also helped to pick our apples.
Many Thanks for the following students and their families
Xavier and Kylie
Jenna, Ryan and Hannah
Jack, Henry Sophie, Tim and Laura
Arniya and Ashlin
Students in grade three and four have also been working hard, weeding, turning over the soil and mulching the garden beds.
They have planted some vegetable seeds and last week students were shown how to thin out seedlings and repot for future planting.
